Cote d'Ivoire: Visit of the UN Security Council to Country

"There are many challenges ahead including the completion of the disarmament, disbandment and reintegration program," an article in Fraternite Matin (p. 6) quotes President Ouattara as telling a delegation from the UN Security Council visiting Cote d'Ivoire.

The president, the report says, also mentioned "the reconciliation process, security at the country's borders, reinforcement of the security of people and goods," among others, as the other challenges. Another report on the same page of this paper announces that the UN mission in Cote d'Ivoire is to open a bureau in the western town of Guiglo. According to the paper, the announcement was made during a visit by the UN Security Council delegation to this region.
