Kenya: KCB Tipped Against Blazers in Premiership Clash This Weekend

KCB Lions play lowly Blazers in a top Premier League clash at Nyayo Stadium gymnasium tomorrow afternoon. Lions, unbeaten so far this year, are the team to beat.

The bankers, boosted by Chiza Ntirara, Victor Odendo and Ancette Wafula, whipped home side Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) 63-38 in Mombasa with a virtuoso performance that suggest they are firing on all cylinders.

Thunder, who started the , season on a sour note will have two matches to redeem their campaign. They meet Mennonites and will have Griffin Ligare, Sammy Kirya and Phil Dinga leading. Co-op who are still smarting from that 53-48 loss to Lions face Mennonites tomorrow in a game the bankers are expected to win. In Titus Musembi and Tony Abondo, they have two exiting youngsters to bank on at the back court. However, the game of the day tomorrow, will see USIU play Thunder.

The students are coming off a morale boosting 79-75 win over reigning national champions Co-op Bank. Kakamega-based Western Delight make a trip to Nairobi to face Gladiators today and Western Delight tomorrow. USIU Flames meet Sprite storms. In the lower division, World Hope play Umoja, Africa Nazarene University (ANU) face Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) and Nakuru host Upper Hill at Menengai High.
