Popular artistes, Stereoman, also known as 'Ekwe Sample', is still being held at the D4 section of the State CID, Panti for alleged murder.

Stereoman was accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Rukayat Idris.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Joseph Jayeioba, confirmed the musician's arrest and detention, and said that they are still working on the case.

'The case is still under investigation and we are waiting for the autopsy report for our final investigation' he confirmed.

According to Jayeioba, Ekwe sample 'is still maintaining his innocence and that he has been falsely accused by the lady's family, but the autopsy result will tell'.
