The Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA) has confirmed the endorsement of two new innovative short learning programmes to be delivered by Vega School of Brand Leadership, namely Strategic Brand Leadership and Brand and Marketing Management.
Delegates who pass all three assessment points and obtain an overall combined result of at least 50% on the Strategic Brand Leadership programme, in addition to meeting the MASA Chartered Marketer professional designation criteria, will be eligible to qualify for Chartered Marketer status.
Similarly, candidates attending the Brand and Marketing Management programme who achieve the results as laid out above and meet the MASA Marketing Practitioner professional designation* criteria, will be eligible to qualify for Marketing Practitioner status.
Strategic Brand Leadership is ideal for middle to senior managers who have a relevant or appropriate degree level qualification and/or extensive management experience and who wish to gain a systematic understanding of current thinking, practice, theory and methodology within the area of innovation leadership.
Brand and Marketing Management is more appropriate to middle managers working in the brand, marketing and communications industry who wish to develop both theoretical and practical competence in the broader field of brand building and marketing, whilst being exposed to real-life case studies and brand-solution based problems.
These eight week part-time programmes will run on Vega campuses in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town. Brand and Marketing Management will start on the 4th of June and Strategic Brand Leadership on 5th of June, and will run on Monday and Wednesday nights and Tuesday and Thursday nights respectively.
