Interior Minister Abba Moro has called on Nigerians to join hands with the Federal Government to defeat enemies of Nigeria who are bent on destabilizing the country

He stated this yesterday in a statement he issued to mark this year's Democracy Day entitled: Let us join hands to defeat evil.

Moro noted that the spirit of unity, love and peace preached at independence by our founding fathers was trampled upon by a few individuals and urged Nigerians to say no to insecurity.

"As we march towards attaining greater heights in the overall development of our dear country, Nigeria, this is the time for all of us to join hands to defeat institutions and individual forces that have vowed that Nigeria will not progress in all spheres of development," he said.

He noted that, "this is the time for us as a people to say no to political anarchists, whose aims are self serving and destructive."
