Nigeria: Children Tasked On Creativity, Unity

Osogbo — Director General of the National Gallery of Arts, Dr. Abdullahi Sabo Muku has charged children in the country to use their intellect to develop creative ideas that can promote peace and strengthen national unity.

Muku gave the charge during the arts exhibition, funfair and concert organized by NGA in Osogbo, Osun State capital, as part of activities to mark this year's Childrens Day celebration. Muku ,who spoke through the NGA deputy director, Mrs. Victoria Ukpera, said, "As we celebrate Childrens Day today, I want to remind Nigerian children that all the abundant natural resources God has bestowed us with remain untapped and we will continue to remain poor if there is no peace, unity and freedom.
