Angola: Tender for CNE's Chairperson Closes

Luanda — The tender for the appointment of the new chairperson of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) ended on Sunday according to the guidance of High Council of Judicial Magistracy.

The candidates must be judicial magistrates with any organ, Angolan citizen and shall application for admission to the High Council of Magistracy, through a document bearing recognised signature, attached to a copy of the ID and Curriculum Vitae.

Angop learnt that the request shall be handed over in Luanda on the premises of the High Council of Magistracy and in provincial courts of the inland provinces.

The jury is comprised by adviser judges Augusto da Costa Carneiro (presiding judge), Anabela Mendes Vidinhas, Maria Manuela Pitra, Fernando Eduardo Masculino and Baptista Guenjo.
