Angola: Writer John Bella Announces Release of New Book

Luanda — The Angolan author Jorge Marques Bela (John Bella) will release his latest literary work entitled "As lágrimas do Rei-sol", on June 1, in Luanda, to salute the International Child's Day.

The writer told Angop Monday that the work was published by "Atlantica - Publishing House.

The work comprises 36 pages subdivided into sixteen drawings illustrated by plastic artist Marcela Marcos.

"The book tells of a world created by a god called Ngana Nzambi (God) who appointed his son Sun to rule with his light, colour and joy all the beings of nature.

Jorge Marques Bela was born on 30 September 1968, in Sambizanga, Luanda, and started his career in 1984, at Youth Brigade of Literature in Luanda.
