Nigeria: Sokoto Doctors Back Sacked Lagos Colleagues

Sokoto — The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Sokoto state chapter has called on the Lagos state government to withdraw the sack letters issued 788 doctors of the state.

It also urged eminent Nigerians to intervene in the interest of the masses.

Addressing a press conference in Sokoto yesterday, the state secretary of NMA, Dr.Abubakar Panti condemned the sack of the doctors by the Lagos state government. "The Nigerian Medical Association Sokoto state chapter unequivocally condemns in totality this draconian, inequitable, unfair, autocratic, unconditional, high-handed, dictatorial tendencies of Babatunde Raji Fashola led government of Lagos state," he said.
