Ernest Nshiime a third year student at Dental School in Kampala has been rewarded for becoming the 30,000th fan of New Vision's Facebook fan page.
An elated Nshiime was taken on a tour of the Vision Group offices and rubbed shoulders with some of his favourite writers and presenters.
"When we see your faces on TV and in the papers, we think you are aliens but you guys are so easy and down to earth," Nshiime told the Vision Group Boss Robert Kabushenga.
Nshiime received a hamper with branded souvenirs as a token of appreciation from Vision Group.
New Vision crossed the 30,000 mark last Wednesday. Louis Jadwong, the company Head of Digital said that New Vision was the first media outlet to hit that mark in the country.
Vision Group's other brands like Bukedde, XFM and Urban TV can also be found on the popular platform.
