The Lagos State Government has reinstated the all 778 medical doctors it sacked a few weeks ago.

This was made known in a statement from the state government on Thursday. The doctors were sacked after an ultimatum given them by the state government to return to work was ignored, following a dispute over salaries.

However, Fashola has been under pressure from several interest groups and the media to recall the medical doctors.
