Amavubi depart for Algiers this evening ahead of Saturday's 2014 Brazil World Cup qualifier against the Desert Foxes.
The Amavubi who by press time were playing Chad national team in their third friendly match in Tunisia are expected to depart from Tunis international airport this Thursday at 16.40 hrs (17.40hrs) aboard Tunis air.
Their flight to Algiers will take one hour and fifteen minutes. The team will be accommodated at Sheraton Hotel and will have a light training on Friday at Blida stadium, the venue for Saturday's do or die clash.
The team which has gained more experience after playing three friendly matches against Libya, Tunisia and Chad on their 11-day training camp in Tunisia begins its busy month of June this Saturday.
Rwanda is pooled in Group H for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers alongside Algeria, Benin and Mali.
After the away fixture against Algeria, the national team will return to Kigali on June 5 to prepare for Benin qualifier due on June 10.
Seven days later, Amavubi will head to Abuja for the return leg qualifying fixture against Nigeria for the 2013 Cup of Nations tournament in South Africa.
A win or a scoring draw would see Rwanda through to the final round of the qualifiers. The first leg in Kigali ended goalless.
Against Benin, Mali and Algeria, Rwanda has much to do to qualify for the 2014 World Cup. A draw in their away matches and a win in home matches are the most important results needed if the country is to qualify for Brazil finals.
The final first round qualifier, against Mali, is scheduled for May, 2013. The second round which starts early June, 2013, will see Rwanda hosting Mali and Algeria, before travelling to Benin for their final.
