Maputo — The Mozambican government wants the Brazilian mining giant Vale to sell on the local stock exchange (BMV) ten per cent of its coal mining venture in Moatize, in the western province of Tete.
According to the Minister of Mineral Resources, Esperanca Bias, this would "ensure the participation of Mozambicans in projects for the exploitation of natural resources".
