Egypt: 40 Busts of Statues, Limestone False Door Found in Southern Saqqara

In a new blow to antiquities traders, tourism and antiquities police found 40 busts of Ushabti statues and a limestone false door in southern Saqqara.

According to a tip-off, some criminals exploited the state of lawlessness in the country after the January 25 revolution and made digging works to discover artifacts.
