A Nationwide WASH Compact Awareness featuring WASH officials and representatives of the 15 Political Subdivision has come to an end with delegates making several recommendations to government. The program which kicked off in Monrovia, Montserrado County on May 22, 2012 brought together about 1250 participants and was held in five regions to include Bong, Margibi, River-Gee, Sinoe and Bomi Counties.
Delegates at the awareness program called on the government to ensure accessible and sustainable safe drinking water, improve sanitation and hygiene in the counties.
