STAFF members at the University of Namibia (Unam) say they live in constant fear of victimisation and threats by those in management positions who are running the institution in an autocratic manner.
"A climate of fear is preventing open and transparent debate on day-to-day issues. Well-meant criticism is taken personally and colleagues are being threatened in meetings and by e-mail," said insiders, who preferred anonymity for fear of victimisation.
