Rwanda: Kamichi to Release New Album This Year

Adolf Bagabo, better known by his stage name Kamichi, is presently busy recording his second album, "Umudakumirwa" - ( The Unstoppable) due for release in December.

The album comprises of 14 singles, including "Ifirimbi ya Nyuma", "Akanigi", "Kabimye", "Ndasigaye" and "Akazina".

The album is produced by seasoned local and regional music producers.

"We're in the final stages of the preparations and the album is an excellent product with great songs," Kamichi told The New Times.

"The preparations started a bit early as I want to give my fans the best concert as the answer to their wildest dreams."

Kigali-born musician, who doubles as a journalist with Voice of Africa (VOA), has a number of popular tracks under his belt including "Warambeshye", "Ahoruzingiye" and "Ngwino Undebe".
