The use of electronic payment system through rechargeable smart cards has enabled the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) to collect 53bn/- this financial year.
Addressing a press conference in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, NCAA Acting Chief Conservationist Mr Shaddy Kyambile, said that the NCAA started using smart cards in May, last year, replacing the old method of cash payment through which much of the liquid cash used to get lost through dubious transactions.
