Uganda: Power Edge the Warriors

Unlike his Warriors counterpart Norman Blick who could only sink in two three-pointers in 11 attempts, Ben Komakech opted to do the damage inside the arc and helped D'Mark Power triumph in the Airtel National Basketball League on Friday.

Komakech sunk in nine of 10 shots enroute to a game high 19 points as D'Mark recovered from 44-36 in the third quarter to secure a narrow victory in the nail-biting encounter on the night that ushered in an era of a new title sponsor.

Jimmy Enabu supplemented Komakech's effort with 17 points as the champions secured a vital victory.

Blick and Henry Malinga got a team high 12 apiece as the absence of Eric Malinga and the under performance of injured Ivan Enabu haunted Warriors. More action is due next week.
