The Advisory Council will hold a meeting on Monday 4/6/2012 with the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) to discuss the latest political developments in the country, the panel's assistant secretary general said 3/6/2012.

The meeting comes within a series of regular consultations between the two bodies to discuss recommendations issued by the Advisory Council and discuss the developments in the country, Abdullah al-Moghazi said.

The council recently discussed a proposal on issuing a complimentary constitutional declaration that sets the powers of the new president until a new permanent constitution is written, he said.
