Uige — The representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Uige province, Sanda Kimbimbi is from today, on a working visit to the province where he will find the reception conditions of Angolan refugees returning from the DRC.
Speaking to the press today, he said the aim of coming to this province is to analyze with the Angolan authorities what can be done as a last effort to help refugees still in neighbouring countries like Democratic Republic of Congo, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia, so they can also return to their homelands, for their contribution to the development of the country.
"Let's look at what can be done to help the most refugees are in neighbouring countries", he said, advancing the time of the return of Angolan refugees in the country ends on June 30.
