Angola: Govt to Open Factories in Benguela

Luanda — Five factories for manufacture of metallic structures, disposable nappies, sheet, spareparts, emulsion, asphalt and other items will be inaugurated in central Benguela province by the minister of Geology, Mining and Industry, Joaquim David, on June 7-8, Angop learned.

The inaugurations will take place in the Catumbela Industrial Development Point, as part of the Government programmes for 2012, reads a note.

According to the source, the minister's agenda for Benguela includes a visit to the sugar cane farm and a meeting with local entrepreneurs.

Joaquim David will be at the head of a delegation of officials of his department and of the Social Communication Ministry.
