Angola: Landmine Explosion Kills Child in Mussende

Mussende — A four-year old child was killed an another injured Tuesday in Mussense municipality, central Kwanza-Sul province, as a result of the explosion of a landmine, Angop learnt.

The explosive device was on a garbage dump and blew up after fire was dropped on it.

The other child is in the hospital. Meanwhile, a demining team is on the spot to clear the area, said the municipal administrator, Joaquina Gabriel.
