Nigeria: Stop Dropping Buhari's Name, Group Tells Aliyu

Dutse — The Birnin Kudu progressive forum has called on the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) gubernatorial candidate in the 2011 general election in Jigawa, Faruk Adamu Aliyu, to stop parading himself as the godson of General Muhammadu Buhari.

The group's chairman, Alhaji Sani Magaji Kagere who was reacting to a statement credited to Faruk Aliyu last week, said the CPC gubernatorial candidate cannot claim to be Buhari's godson when his style of politics differ from that of the General.
