Angola: Secretary of State Highlights Benefits of Mining Rojects for Families

Jamba — The secretary of State for Geology and Mining, Mankenda Ambroise, said Wednesday in Jamba municipality, southern Huila province, the implementation of the Kassinga Norte and Lipopo iron and gold projects respectively will bring about direct economic benefits for the local families.

The official was speaking to Angop at the end of a visit he paid to Jamba mining projects.

According to him, the benefits include construction of new professional training schools, roads and bridges and job for the local population.

Exploration of iron and gold in Jamba is expected to start in 2013.
