Kenya: UDF Starts Campaign on Mudavadi's Top Seat Bid

THE United Democratic Forum has started a campaign to have other political parties support Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi's presidential bid.

Party's operations and logistics director for Kakamega county Geoffrey Nasiali said the campaign that starts on Monday will involve formation of interim offices with officials drawn from UDF, ODM, Ford-Kenya, New Ford Kenya and PNU. "The process will be complete by end of this month," has said. "We have very little time left for us to gain full grip on the ground and we have asked our members across the province to avoid conflicts and quickly form interim offices to get the party going," said Nasiali. "The issues of who belongs to which party should not arise," he said.
