Nigeria: Nation's Contribution to World Trade Low at Two Percent - Experts

Owing to Nigeria's poor indigenous industries and local manufacturing propensity, the country currently contributes a meagre two per cent to global trade, the director, African Centre for Supply Chain (ACSC), Mr. Obiora Madu said yesterday in Lagos.

Mr Madu, who spoke at the Fellowship Investiture and Induction Ceremony of the ACSC, noted that the inability of the country to embrace modern strategies in supply chain management is equally responsible for the situation.
