South Africa/Botswana: Post Match Reaction - Botswana Versus Bafana

Botswana coach Stan Tshosane

"Not to make any excuses, have I prepared better for this match, I would be talking a different story right now. Our preparations were really not up to scratch. However, I saw a lot of improvement from our previous match against Central Africa Republic. I am disappointed that we still do not have a win. This means if we draw or lose the next match, our chances will be very slim , almost diminished."

South Africa interim coach Steve Khompela.

"The nation deserves better, we cannot draw permanently, but we must also understand that we cannot lose or win permanently. Today we badly wanted a win even if it meant doing anything to get that but still it did not happen, we will keep trying in the next games.

If you look at the first half, we were in good control of the match and there was an element of commitment on our side, we scored but then committed an error that resulted in the opponents getting an equaliser. We continued to fight in the second half and created chances but the same old problem of not converting surfaced."
