Huambo — The Angolan writer Penelas Santanas presented on Saturday in the central Huambo province the second volume of his book entitled "Algumas razões que fazem o MPLA e José Eduardo dos Santos ganharem eleições".
The 200-page book is a reflection by the author on the advantages of MPLA and President José Eduardo dos Santos in winning the next elections in the country, as well as it portrays cultural, political, social and military matters experienced in Angola from the beginning of the colonial regime up to now.
Moreover, the author said that the composition of the book results from a reflection on the 2008 legislative election, in which 81 per cent of the Angolan population voted for MPLA.
The book is being sold at the price of AKZ 4000.
Officially released on 24 February in 2012 in Luanda, the book was already presented in the provinces of Kwanza Norte, Kwanza Sul, Uíge and Malanje.
