Nigeria: Olympics Qualifier - Country Win Two Tune-Up Games

The Nigeria senior men national team D'Tigers at the weekend started it's build-up to the London 2012 Olympic Qualifying Tournament with two victories over China's top club Foshan Long Lions basketball club on Saturday and Sunday.

The Coach Ayo Bakare tutored side defeated the Long Lions on Saturday by 84-54 points at the Jiangmes stadium and posted another fantastic win over same team on Sunday at the Zhong Shan City.

The 21-man Nigerian side will play four more friendly matches in china before jetting out to Houston, United States of America and later Brazil for a 4-Nation Invitational. D'Tigers who are gunning for their first appearance at the men's basketball event in the Olympics will battle Foshan Long Lions on June 13 and on June 14, the team will take on Fujian Quanzhou Bank before taking a double game against Shanxi Zhongyu on June 16 and June 17.
