Washington — An Angolan delegation participates on 12-14 June at the 11th annual Forum on Trade and Economic Cooperation between US and Sub-Saharan Africa to be held in Washington.
Apart from the meeting of senior officials and experts during the forum will take place the meeting of the African Ministerial Consultative Group of AGOA.
Before the end of the month, African entrepreneurs at the 2012 Forum, including members of the Angola/USA Chamber of Commerce will have the opportunity in the city of Cincinnati, the U.S. state of Ohio, to establish contact with American businessmen to exchange experiences and partnerships.
Under the theme Improving African Infrastructure for Trade, the event, which takes place in the context of the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act
(AGOA), aims to promote economic development in Sub-Saharan Africa and focus on development of infrastructures to support and promote African trade.
The component of the AGOA Ministerial Forum 2012, will focus on developing infrastructure in Africa, support and promote trade around four main objectives: Development of the transport, energy, telecommunications and others, to improve competitivenessin continent and the promotion of trade integration between the U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa.
