The Obuasi office of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has presented relief items to victims of a fire which gutted a nine-bedroom house at Kunka, a suburb of Obuasi, on Monday.
The items include mats, plastic bowls, plastic cups, bags of rice, mattresses, mosquito nets and secondhand clothes. Though the cause of the fire is yet to be established, speculations were that the fire was ignited by a cylinder explosion.
