Arusha — POLICE in Arusha have impounded some 10,000 litres of illicit brew from Kenya at Namanga border post as it was being smuggled into the country.
Arusha Regional Police Commander, Mr Liberatus Sabas, said yesterday that the illicit brew popularly known as "chang'aa" or "kumi-kumi" was impounded on Sunday as it was being transported from Kenya to Arusha in a Scania truck with registration numbers T 414 AJX.
