Angola: Cuba, Portugal Seek Strengthened Relations With the Country - Ambassadors

Luanda — The governments of Cuba and Portugal want to strengthen their relations in various fields with Angola, Angop has learnt.

The fact was expressed Tuesday in Luanda by the new ambassadors of respective countries, Gizela Rivera and João Camara at the end of accreditation ceremony by the President, Jose Eduardo dos Santos.

According to the Cuban diplomat, the bilateral relations "are historical and of much brotherhood and solidarity. He pledged to work on this basis to further strengthen this relationship.

In his turn, the Portuguese diplomat João Camara, who termed the excellent the ties between the two countries also said that he will do his best to maintain them at the same level.

He also spoke of possibility to increase them in the other fields of cooperation.
