Ghana: Narkwa Killer Produces Chief's Head

Cape Coast — The severed head of the Ekumfi Chief, Nana Eguase, has been exhumed by a man suspected to have perpetrated the crime. Kweku Mensah, the suspect, led a team of police personnel to the spot where he had buried the head on Monday.

The murder of the Chief sparked ethnic conflict in Ekumfi in the Central Region between Fantes and Ewes. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Stephen Andoh Kwofie explained that 37 year-old farmer and coconut seller, Kweku Mensah, was arrested in connection with the murder after a tip off.
