Nigeria/Rwanda: Expect Harvest of Goals Against Rwanda - Keshi

Calabar — Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, has urged football fans inNigeria to put the memory of last week's 1-1 draw away toMalawi and expect harvests of goals against the Wasps of Rwanda.

The Stephen Keshi-led Super Eagles arrived the Margaret Ekpo International airport, Calabar on Tuesday through Arik airline in preparation for the African Nation's cup qualifier at the U.J. Esuene stadium, Calabar.

Keshi on arrival assured that his team would reward Governor Liyel Imoke and Calabar fans for the support they received in their match againstNamibiaby defeating the Rwandans by a high goal margin.

"Expect a lot of goals. That I can assure you, to make Calabar people and the Governor happy in our second coming within two weeks. We appreciate the support from Imoke andCrossRiverpeople and football fans especially. We will not let them down, that I can assure you."

Keshi expressed the hope that the Eagles presence inCrossRiverwould inspire young footballers in the state to work hard to become stars forNigeria.

He also recalled the team's experiences with the Flames of Malawi in their 2014 World CupBrazilqualifier inBlantyredescribing it as "hectic."

"It was hectic, a terrible experience for us. We did not train, we were not used to the pitch and we arrivedMalawilate. But that is not an excuse for the draw," Keshi said.
