Nigeria: Sokoto Revokes N94 Million Health Centre Contract

Sokoto — The N94.3 million contract for the construction of a primary health centre in Tambuwal Local Government Area of Sokoto State has been revoked by the state government. The Romon Liman primary health centre project was awarded in 2007.

Governor Aliyu Wamakko announced the revocation while inspecting projects executed by the state government in the local government area, saying it became necessary as the contractor had shown lack of seriousness in the project execution.

The contract, according to him, would soon be re-awarded to a committed contractor.
