Windhoek — The President of Botswana, Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama, is to pay a State visit to Namibia.
The visit, scheduled for June 25-27, will include official talks with the Namibian Government in Windhoek along with a trip to the Heroes Acre, where he will lay a wreath, as well as do some sight-seeing.
The visiting Head of State will then proceed to Walvis Bay where he will be received by President Hifikepunye Pohamba and the Governor of the Erongo Region Cleophas Mutjavikua, before attending the official inauguration of the West African Cable System (WACS).
The presidential delegation will then attend a presentation by Namport, including a visit to the dry port and also attend a turning of the sod for the same facility.
The visit will end of with a trip to Namdeb and a speech delivered to members of both houses of parliament before his departure on June 27.
