Uganda: Musicians Angry at KCCA Boss

Apparently it looks like city executive director Jennifer Musisi is earning a bad name among various artistes.

After recently charging a couple of musicians, including Geoffrey Lutaaya and O.S for illegally pinning up posters for their concerts in the KCCA court, she has also banned concerts in the city from going on beyond 10:00pm. This has agitated musicians and promoters alike.

As a result, our sources have found out that musicians have hit studios to produce songs that are geared towards criticising Musisi's iron hand approach.

Leading the way is none other than King Michael who is remixing his Kilimululu song to throw a jibe at Madam Musisi and our sources say other musicians will follow suit soon, considering the fact that their livelihood is being threatened.
