Egypt: SCAF Emergency Meeting Discusses Parliament Dissolution

Egypt's ruling Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) will hold an emergency meeting to discuss the dissolution of the Islamist-led parliament, Egypt's state television reported.

On Thursday, the Supreme Constitutional Court stroke down some of the articles of Egypt's parliament law, requiring the dissolution of parliament.

Legislative power has returned to the ruling military council, after it was handed over to the elected parliament in January.
