Egypt: Military Council - Runoff to Be Held On Time

Egypt's presidential election runoff will be held as scheduled on June 16-17, the ruling military council stated on Thursday.

The Supreme Constitutional Court had ruled earlier on Thursday that the political exclusion law is unconstitutional which allows Mubarak's last Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq to compete in the imminent runoff.
