Egypt: Al-Azhar Denounces Cooperation Between Vatican, Israel

Al-Azhar denounced on Wednesday 13/6/2012 news about cooperation agreements between Israeli occupation forces and Vatican.

In a statement on Wednesday, al-Azhar expressed its shock over signing such agreements, which give legitimacy to Israel's occupation authorities that he described as "aggressive" and violator of the international law.

Al-Azhar has criticized how regimes, which supposedly apply international law and honor international resolutions regarding the occupied Jerusalem, strike deals that give legitimacy to the aggressive occupation forces that violate international law.

Al-Azhar also warned of grave consequences for Palestinians, Muslims and Christians alike.
