Egypt: Foreign Minister Affirms Egypt's Support for Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization

During his meeting with the delegation of Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization (AAPSO) on Wednesday 13/6/2012, Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr affirmed Egypt's support for the activities of the AAPSO and appreciated its important role to strengthen the relations and ties between the peoples of the two continents.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Amr Roshdi said the delegation congratulated the Foreign Minister on the success of the Ministerial Conference of Non-Aligned Movement, which was hosted by Egypt in Sharm el-Sheikh in May.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed the current and future activities of the AAPSO, including the steps for the conference of the Afro-Asia Writers' Union to be held by the organization in Cairo in December.
