A Gambian based in the United States at the Rowan University, Professor Dr. Michael Ba Banutu-Gomez will launch his second book titled "Global leadership, change, organisations and development" tomorrow, 16th, June 2012 at the Banutu Business College in Lamin village, Kombo North. The event is scheduled to start at 4.00pm.
It would be recalled that in 2006, Professor Gomez visited The Gambia and launched his first book titled: "Africa, we owe it to our ancestors, our children and ourselves." The launching ceremony of that book was held at the Alliance Franco premises along the Kairaba Avenue in Kanifing and was attended by many dignitaries including the academia community, relatives, and friends within and outside The Gambia.
Written by an accomplished Professor, the book to be launched provides a framework for leadership success throughout the world. Drawing upon examples from Africa and elsewhere, the author demonstrates how to deal with organisational cultures, teams, and change in a global setting; be more profitable in an increasingly globalised world, amongst others.
"The book is intended for students, leaders, managers and professionals as it provides you with the vision you need to approach your mission from a global perspective," the author noted.
