Rwanda: Ngororero - Jehovanis Choir Launches First Video Album

The Pentecost church's Jehovanis choir in Ngororero District on June 9th 2012 launched its first album of 12 songs "Umuti w'Ibibazo" in audio and video versions.

It was not their first time to launch an album but the first album was audio without video.

This called for celebration as it occurred as it occurred in conjunction with an event to pray for new two pastors to work in Ngororero, Pastor Damien Munyaneza and JVM Ntegeyirije.

Mrs. Alvera Mukamana, choir leader and church minister reveals that making the videos of twelve songs is owed to the church members but most especially choir members, whereby Rwf6 million were spent.

During the launch, CDs were sold at Rwf3000 each and those bought as a way of promoting the choir paid more.

Although our songs are loved by many, we face a problem of market due to low income levels and mindset of Ngororero residents. We plan to make them available in town markets like Kigali," laments the choir leader.
