Angola: Executive Members Analyse Socio-Economic Situation

Luena — The members of the government of the eastern province of Moxico will meet this Friday in Luena, for the second ordinary session to, among other issues, assessing the socio-economic situation in the region.

Under the guidance of their provincial governor, Joao Ernesto dos Santos "Liberdade, the meeting will review the degree of compliance with the decisions of the previous session, and the proposed twinning process between the provinces of Angola and Argentina.

During the meeting, the participants will be informed about the degree of physical and financial implementation of the Public Investment Programme (PIP), the rules implementing the 2012 budget and credit line from China.

They also will learn about the progress of integrated municipal programme for the rural development and fight poverty, implemented in 2008 by the Angolan government and the building of 200 houses in each municipality of the province.
