Angola: Vice Minister Checks Viana Court

Luanda — The deputy minister of Justice for Courts, Alves Monteiro, Thursday, visited the Court of the municipality of Viana, Luanda, to, among other objectives, make redistribution of work rooms to magistrates.

Alves Monteiro said that in addition to the redistribution of the rooms to judges and prosecutors of their workspaces, the visit also served to analyze aspects issues to the personnel.

"After this visit, the provincial prosecutor, judges and magistrates will study the best way for resettlement," he said.

The deputy minister for Courts said at the time that the 10th section of his portfolio will attend to the common crimes that, in principle, were tried in Dona Ana Joaquina Palace.

In turn, the Attorney General of the Republic, José Maria de Sousa, said that "there was a constraint in this court due to shortage of space, the number of existing judges did meet the number of offices."
