Rwanda: DOT Alerts Entrepreneurs to Be Precocious While Investing

Following Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT)'s concluded computer training session; the graduates received advice from an Entrepreneur expert on what to do and not to while investing, a talk delivered during a certificate award ceremony on 5th June 2012 at BDF offices in Kamonyi district.

Eugene Ndagijimana is the head of Entrepreneurs of Kamonyi district and spoke about tips that determine an entrepreneur's success.

"You need to invest in any given business type after you have made thorough research of what could have been the challenges of other people who did try it before you. At the same time you have to prepare for unpredictable losses." Explained Ndagijimana

"Entrepreneurs need to be quick at make decisions and at the same time hard workers and target oriented." Added Ndagijimana

Alphonse Hatunguramye is a trader of cassava and is a resident of Nyamiyaga Sector says that "I achieved a lot through this training since my prior business only relied on my daily thinking not a strategic plan for any given period of months."

"I intend to begin budgeting what I am to invest, who to sell it to and which profit to anticipate rather than simply buying and selling with hopes of making profit." Adds Hatunguramye

Augustin Rwagatare a mechanical personnel said that "I had saved some money with intention of starting up my own garage instead of continuing to work for others however all advice I got from people was to first attend these trainings, which I have noticed are much useful."
