Tunisia: Prime Minister On Visit in Morocco

Rabat — Interim Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali arrived on Thursday in Rabat to attend the 17th session of the Tunisian-Moroccan high joint committee whose works start Friday.

Jebali, who was greeted upon arrival at Rabat-Sale Airport by his counterpart Abdelilah BenKirane, said, in a statement to the media, that the aim of this visit is to strengthen the close relations between Tunisia and Morocco.

The point is also, he added, to boost bilateral co-operation in different fields and sectors so that it might meet the expectations of the two brotherly peoples and reflect the two countries' political will.

The Interim Prime Minister, who is escorted by the Foreign Minister and the Minister in charge of Economic Affairs, is expected to have talks with king Mohamed VI and Morocco's Prime Minister.
