Egypt: SCAF and Advisory Council Discuss Complementary Constitutional Declaration

The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) held a meeting with the Advisory Council on Friday 15/06/2012 to discuss the issuance of a complementary constitutional declaration following the Constitutional Court ruling dissolving the parliament.

Sameh Ashur, the Head of the Advisory Council said the council calls for forming the Constituent Assembly, which will write the new constitution of Egypt, from heads of political parties and trade unions along with heads of judicial bodies and NGOs leaders and religious scholars.
